    • Do I need a prescription?

      No, but having one may help with insurance reimbursement. If needed, our team can assist you with obtaining a prescription for insurance purposes.

    • How long does a fitting take?
      Most fittings take 15-20 minutes to ensure you get the best fit.
    • Where is your fitting location?

      Our main office is at Unit 2500, 1 Dundas Street West, conveniently located beside the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto. We also offer on-site visits in Toronto hospitals, guided video fittings in the comfort of your home and in-person fittings in Scarborough and Ottawa.

    • Does insurance cover compression socks?

      Many extended health insurance plans provide coverage for compression stockings when medically required. Coverage varies by provider and plan, and a prescription may be required for reimbursement.

       

      We work with many major insurance providers, including Green Shield (such as City of Toronto and Air Canada plans), Blue Cross, Manulife, Sun Life, and others. Depending on your plan, we may be able to offer direct billing.

       

      We also offer a complimentary insurance coverage check to help you better understand your benefits and determine your available coverage before purchasing.

    • Should I wear compression socks on my long flight?

      Compression socks can benefit many travellers, even if you’re young, active, and healthy. They are not only for older adults or people with circulation concerns.

       

      Long periods of sitting on a plane can cause blood to pool in your legs, leading to swelling, discomfort, and heavy, tired legs. Compression socks help support circulation and can help your legs feel more comfortable during and after your flight.

       

      Many travellers don’t realize that certain factors, such as hormonal birth control, pregnancy, or a personal or family history of blood clots, may increase the importance of supporting circulation while travelling. Even without known risk factors, compression socks are a simple way to help reduce swelling and keep your legs feeling refreshed on longer flights.

    • How many pairs of compression socks do I need?

      We recommend having at least 2 pairs of compression socks to allow for proper washing, drying, and rotation between wears. Since compression garments are typically air dried, having multiple pairs helps ensure you can wear compression consistently.

       

      If you wear compression every day for work, travel, exercise, or medical reasons, you may prefer 3 or more pairs for added convenience, and to help extend the life of your garments. Consistent wear will provide the most ongoing support.
